You
who are far off, hear what I have done; * you who are near recognize my
strength.
Sinners
in Zion are afraid; * trembling has seized the godless
“Can
any of us live with this devouring fire? * Can any of us live in endless
burning?”
The man who acts honestly and speaks the
truth, * who rejects dishonest profit,
who will not touch a bribe, * who will not
hear of shedding blood, * who will not look at an evil plot:
this
man will have a house on the heights; * a mountain fortress will be his refuge.
Food
will be brought to him * and water in steady supply.
